Getting The Anatomy of Puck has made me think of various representations of the 'merry prankster' over the years. We have Pucks from Disney's Gargoyles, Neil Gaiman's The Sandman, and Rudyard Kipling's Puck of Pook's Hill. Pucks by Arthur Rackham and Sir Joshua Reynolds and Brian Froud. Puck played by Mickey Rooney in the 1935 A Midsummer Night's Dream. That woodcut of 'Robin Goodfellow' maybe shows a little bit more of Puck's anatomy than is proper.
