Unfulfilled Wishes: Five Years of the Wishlist (Tolkien and the Inklings)

No sooner had I thought about what I didn't get from the Wish List, that I felt compelled to go back and look into that. I was especially interested in what Tolkien-related tomes I hadn't bought. It was a vanishingly small number compared to what I did get, usually because of rarity (The Old English Exodus), price (those deluxe editions), or attenuated subject matter (did I really need another book about Christianity and the Tolkien mythos?). That one Hobbit book is a reproduction of the First Edition. Could I justify the expense when I basically had the edited material in The Annotated Hobbit? To plump out the post I've included material by and about the Inklings, mainly C. S. Lewis and Owen Barfield. But if I ever unexpectedly become fabulously wealthy, you can bet I'd get every item here.
