In relation to my Mrs. Beasley story, John reminds me:
"We did, however, win a Baby Secret doll - which was seen as a 'hoot' considering we were all boys, until some of us actually started playing with her. Baby Secret said whispery little things when you pulled her string. Which doesn't lessen her creepy factor. I remember I played with it with Wendy sometimes, much to parental concern. I remember when Pop won it, it sort of cheesed them off, like it was rigged to kind of be a joke on them having only boys. He sort of claimed it as an F--- you to them. Maybe regretted it later! I remember Wendy did have a Mrs. Beasley."
I had completely forgotten Baby Secret, but I remembered it after a while. I looked at a video of her saying her phrases, and it was creepy.
