In the days even before VCRs, Richard J. Anobile pioneered the production of movie books presented as stills and blow-ups accompanied by text. For many it was the only way to have to have the films ready at hand. Anobile produced this collection of gems from many of the Marx Brothers movies; in his time he made many others, including collections of W. C. Fields, Laurel and Hardy, and even "Casablanca". He became particularly associated with the Star Trek 'photonovels', starting with "The Wrath of Khan". In the old days before I had even seen many of the movies, this was my connection to the Marx Brothers.
