Into the Archive: The Oz Scrapbook

The Oz Scrapbook, by David L. Greene and Dick Martin (1977, Random House)

The question that occurred to me as I unwrapped this book was, why did I get it? I have sold similar books about Oz; why get another one? One reason was that Dick Martin had a hand in it; he was the illustrator (among his other Ozian credits) of my childhood Holy Grail, The Visitors from Oz. That intrigued me. Also it was in a nostalgic form: 'scrapbooks' like this proliferated throughout the Seventies and always interested me. Thirdly, it cost under $7, and this was probably the deciding factor.   An ex-library book (from Westbrook, CT), the last time it was checked out was in 2005.
