Remembering today John Severin, known to me from his work in Kull the Conqueror, Cracked, and elsewhere. Not any kind of anniversary, I think; just remembering him. Along with his sister, Marie Severin, I consider he was one of the best artists working in comics, very precise, able to capture a good likeness. Also did a lot of work in War and Western titles, but they were out of my purview.
