What I've Been Doing

First of all, here are some AI enhancements of line illustrations and engravings, a process that I find fascinating. Next here are some illustrations from some Bureau of Shadows stories: Agent Beth Castlemaine paints a picture Taken From Life (aka Through a Bluebell Dell) and an animation of Senator Lovett and Edna York in a railroad car (to be perfectly time appropriate they should be wearing hats).

To round it off, here is an animation of Dr. Gilpin at his alchemical efforts:

Behind the scenes, as it were, I am still preparing material for the script of Episode Seven of my proposed television series. It is still only proposed, of course; I'd like to get at least 10 episodes scripted before I even think about trying to shop it around. In the meantime, it is great fun. I find I haven't published Taken From Life here on the Niche yet. Maybe I should.

Vintage line illustrations, turned into 'photorealistic' images. I don't know why, exactly, but I find this sort of thing endlessly fascinating.

Ogre Efforts Compilation

I thought it would be interesting to gather together all our scattered efforts of trying to picture Ogres, from the inspirational drawing first made in Mrs. Rector's class to a sort of apotheosis with John's production of Kwee. Ferus of course is a mutation, but there are various other efforts at Ogre posture. AI in particular didn't like their U-bend necks and high shoulders (almost humpbacks) or their prominent blue veins. But at least it was pretty good with their purple eyes. John has some pretty good transistional efforts, but I can't quite put my finger on them at the moment.
