Walt Disney Comics Digest
#17 (November 1969)
An issue we did not have. Besides the Mickey and Goofy story, there is an adaptation of Pedro: Junior Mailman, Minnie dishes the facts about Grauman’s Chinese Theater in her semi-regular column “Minnie Mouse in Hollywood”, Scrooge tries to join a fancy fox hunt, and there is the conclusion of “Davy Crockett and the River Pirates” begun last issue. My copy is nowhere near this pristine looking.
Walt Disney Comics Digest
#18 (December 1969)
Another one we did not
have. If there was a Halloween special issue, could Christmas be far behind? Besides
the big story (which involves Scrooge trying to charitable at Christmas – much against
his normal instincts, but there’s a bet to be won!), there are other winter-themed
stories, a graphic adaptation of Bongo, and a largely written adaptation of 101
Dalmations (with some pictures, of course). From all of us to all of you!
