How the heck did I end up with five Aang figures (seven if you count the variants)? I can only point to that 2008 garage sale for part of the answer. Also various discount purchases over the years. I liked the Avatar animated show, but not so much as to pursue its merchandising with any great persistence or expense. Though I did have to have an Appa, as shown below. Who could resist a six-legged flying water buffalo?
