Upon consideration, I decided to change "withered old" into "willowy". Though the phrase "withered old" was part of the poem since its conception and the "withered old witch" might be said to be the inception of the whole thing, pulling everything else after it, the illustrations provided from my description allowed me to see new possibilities. Changing one word is much easier than struggling to change the whole thing, and besides, it works. "That's my idea! That is an original thought!"
