Today, out of the blue, John texted me the phrase, "Brave Cowboy Bill! Brave Cowboy Bill!" and I was astounded. I had completely forgotten this Golden Record, another one of Mom's old childhood records that got played when we were all very small. It was originally a Little Golden Book, with illustrations by Richard Scarry. Of course our record didn't have the sleeve; it didn't even have the label sticker on the record itself, it was so old! Another little slice of the past restored. Or did I make that memory of the record up? I find it was also on the old Art Carney "Wizard of Oz" LP.
